  • Singapore Airlines First Class Suites was like having my own private haven in the sky. Only were six exclusive spots reserved for the crème de la crème.
  • Stepping into the surprisingly spacious lavatory adorned with luxurious “Lalique” amenities, I felt as though I had entered a pampering escape.
  • “Book The Cook” was amazing service that allowed me to try the cuisines by the world renowned chefs at 30,000 feet. There was always delightful surprises awaiting me during 8 hour flight.

Singapore Airlines first class is always my top pick when embarking on a pure luxury journey in the sky, Their first class suites are nothing short of miniature retreats. Their service is like a warm hug, mixing the best of Chinese kindness with Western friendliness.

Join me as I embark on a 5-week journey to savor five unparalleled first-class experiences. It showcases the pinnacle of luxury travel with the finest first class choices. This week I wrap up this series of review with Singapore Airlines (SQ). The Airlines has again dominated the first class travel awards, winning the awards for the World’s Best First Class, the World’s Best First Class Seat, the World’s Best First Class Comfort Amenities in 2023.

The cabin was the retreat in the sky.

In the realm of first class travel on Singapore Airlines, It’s like having my own private haven in the sky. Only were six exclusive spots reserved for the crème de la crème. Each suite adorned with its plush seat and bed, complemented by sliding doors for utmost privacy and an expansive interior.

As I ascended the staircase to the upper deck, I was greeted by the epitome of comfort – my very own haven. The office chair beckoned so invitingly that I practically melted into its embrace. Right beside the sliding door, I discovered a concealed wardrobe stocked with slippers and all the essentials for my cozy journey to New York. What proved to be perfect for my quick touch-up in the sky? A discreet storage cabinet by the window, complete with a handy mirror.

As the crew set the tone for relaxation with a flute of champagne, I effortlessly adjusted the lighting and window settings to my liking with a single touch. Lifting the armrest unveiled controls for both the entertainment system and seat comfort. The airline treated me to the renowned “Bang & Olufsen” headphones, adding a touch of finesse to the experience.

I explored as if I were Alice in Wonderland, discovering delightful treasures at every turn. The lavish “Lalique” amenities tucked into the overnight bag were synonymous with sophistication and indulgence.

Stepping into the surprisingly spacious lavatory adorned with luxurious “Lalique” amenities, I felt as though I had entered a pampering escape. And let’s not overlook the second lavatory, exclusively reserved for us first class passengers. Slightly smaller, yet still a haven of comfort – even the details in the restroom didn’t disappoint. I marveled once again at the plush cushioned seat and the exquisite offerings of “Lalique.”

Culinary was delightful.

Despite the relatively short 8-hour flight from Frankfurt to New York JFK, Singapore Airlines’ dedication to culinary excellence remained steadfast. As someone who appreciated fine dining even at 30,000 feet, I took advantage of the “Book The Cook” online pre-selection option. Choosing the tantalizing Thai Rice Soup was a no-brainer for me, it was a truly delightful immersion in Thai flavors.

From the rich broth to the accompaniment of fish roe and the delectable post-meal desserts, every bite left me thoroughly satisfied. It’s evident that the airline’s commitment to culinary sophistication was second to none.

After the main course, I couldn’t resist indulging in the heavenly chocolate cake, which served as the perfect conclusion to my dinner, followed by a refreshing assortment of fruits to cleanse the palate.

As we approached the end of the journey, a delightful surprise awaited me. The beef roll, a delicate morsel of succulent meat encased in a tender wrap, surpassed all expectations. It was the savory farewell I needed to bid adieu to Singapore Airlines with a smile on my face.

Took a peek into relaxation.

One of the most eagerly awaited aspects of my journey was settling into the first class suites aboard this flight, which boasted a unique feature: the separate arrangement of seats and beds. Unlike many other airlines where the first class seat had to be reclined to transform into a bed, Singapore Airlines’ first class suites defied convention!

I just observed the graceful movements of the cabin crew as they effortlessly pull down the bed panel from the partition, swiftly adorning it with a plush mattress, pillows, and a cozy duvet – creating an exceptionally comfortable bed for me.

This innovative design meant that I could recline and rest peacefully on the bed without the need to stow it away when it’s time to dine. The seamless transition between seating and bedding was a testament to the uniqueness of Singapore Airlines’ first class suite. With the sliding door closed, privacy became an absolute luxury, elevating the suite experience to unparalleled heights.
